I'm Petra Knellwolf - living in the Engadine by choice and love to follow my vocation here in the Engadine and to accompany people on their way to relaxation, body awareness and muscular balance. I am convinced that Pilates and Yoga are suitable for everybody - whether young or old, athlete or couch potato.
My interest in harmonious movement has fascinated me since I was a child. Many years of professional experience and my polysportive interest have inspired and taught me to understand and train the movement sequences of the human body. With Pilates, Yoga and myofascial training I have found the depth I was looking for. I have realized that only through the precision and concentrated perception of one's own body can an effective training be created. The conscious use of breathing, focused and clear practice with my own body gives me a feeling of lightness, a sense of well-being, a conscious awareness of every muscle. I appreciate these challenging and yet deeply relaxing forms of movement and love to pass on this enthusiasm.
My teaching is attentive, varied and focused on the functionality of the body. A lot of passion and a pinch of humor flow into my teaching. For over 20 years. I have accompanied people back to their strength. My knowledge constantly improves, for I believe the learning is a lifelong and exiting process. My work has also shown how different body types can be and how important it is to be able to respond individually to each participant. In my studio we find room and time for individuality on only 120 m2. In a pleasant atmosphere, training is even more fun. I really appreciate my small but ideally equipped studio that helps to contribute to individual training goals.
